Bedrooms on the upper floor are roofed with brick vaults to increase the thermal mass of the roof and reduce energy loads and electricity consumption. In addition to the cost and energy efficiency, the vaults are made with exposed brick face that provide rich texture and patterns inside the rooms without any need of false ceilings.
